It's been nine months since my last post, I don't have an excuse really. I've been really busy, in some cases rushed off my feet. It doesn't really feel like nine months have passed in all fairness.
Mini Update
If you're interested, I want to share a mini update of events that have taken place over the last nine months:
- I became an engineering manager.
- My eldest is now in school and thoroughly enjoying himself.
- My youngest is now talking, albeit in truncated sentences and jumbled words.
- My wife became her own boss, in a way.
- We bought a new car, a Kia, just so we can get the boys to school and nursery.
A concise update I know, but these are what I consider important events over the last nine months - they really seem to have flown by. This seems to be happening more often, however, I will make a concerted effort to keep this up to date.
The Future Of This Blog
I have a few things I want to add to this blog. I've recently introduced myself to Bonsai and I thoroughly enjoy it, it's a nice pass time away from technology. So I'm going to be adding some photos of my trees here and blogging about the techniques I've learned and the general progression of my trees. Right now they are sitting tight in a pop-up greenhouse I purchased to prevent frost damage, so watch this space.
I have a couple of software engineering projects I'd like to complete in the next few months: a Bonsai-related app where people just getting started can find useful information, and also a data aggregation project that collects data from multiple targets and compiles it into a single return, which I've already started.
